It can effectively increase your brand recognition as well as give people a way to reach you easily, which has been proven to increase customer satisfaction and retention.

We will conduct a competitor and landscape audit to establish benchmarks and determine the best social platforms with which you can reach your target audience. A customized social media tactical strategy will tell you how to effectively engage your target audience and reflect key brand messaging across various platforms.

Content marketing focuses around your brand’s website. When used in conjunction with an engaged social media campaign, the content is redistributed across various social channels, where it draws people back to your site for more. Content marketing turns the traditional model of push marketing on its head; instead, we create compelling optimized content that pulls people to your site because they want to learn more. As a bonus, the search engines love fresh, quality content because that is what people are looking for. In theory, a sound content marketing campaign should help to increase your site’s rankings. LocalBizReach can create a content strategy for your site, set up and actively market your blog to generate traffic.

How Important is Organic Rank?

75% of all of the traffic that Google generates goes towards listings in the organic search results or listings. That means that 25% goes towards Google Ads. Out of that 25%, about 10-15% goes to the top 4 paid Google Adwords listing for those keywords and the rest goes to the balance. Therefore, you have a 10-15% chance of capturing visitors, or an extremely low possibility, even if you pay for them.

Which would you rather have:  Free traffic or paid traffic? Organic traffic has a lot of benefits, besides being completely free, it has a higher chance of being found. Also, you can get ranked for other keywords that are related. Google organic searchAnd, it stays there. Forever. Sure the content can be bumped off, but it will still be there. Again, forever.

What about Video? One little known fact, is that video shows up in organic search listings. Not only that, they give you a great back-link. A video strategy could be very important to an organic search strategy.

Create A Google+ Business Page

Just go to google.com/+/business and start creating!

Why? Google is on a quest to make you and your business more relevant. And, just like Facebook, you can get your message out by creating a “hangout”, joining with people in your own “circle” and help people recommend you or your business with +1’s.

Creating an account seems easy, as all you need is a Gmail account. However, you should follow the following instructions to be most effective:

1. Create a Google+ page using a dedicated Gmail account; One that is accessible to your team, if you have one.
2. Customize your page and make it as informative as possible. It is really a platform for your “elevator speech.”
3. Add relevant content. Share a few updates and give people a reason to want to connect with you.
4. Promote your page. Create a few links to relevant and valuable content before you start telling the world about it.
5. Stay relevant. Update and add content as frequently as you can.

At its most basic level, all you really need is to just start and create a page. But since Google+ is a social network, regular additions of shared content and updates is what its really about. Get going and let your customers find you!

How to correctly delete a double Google Places listing

One of the most common errors that occurs on a Google Places listing is a double listing. This is when there are two places pages for one business. This might happen for many reasons, but suffice it to say that it is very bad.

One of the most common reasons why this happens is that the owner of the business discovers that someone has given a bad review of that business. It efforts to distance it from it, he creates another listing. Even if it appears like a slightly different listing, it still has the same phone number and therefore appears the same to Google.

Other reasons might involve 2 or more people managing the same Google account. There might be “rogue” directories that Google then scrapes and recreates another listing. Whatever the reason, there is a right and a wrong way to delete a listing.

Here is the correct way to do it:

1. Log in to your Google Places account.
2. Click “delete” for the listing in question.
3. Choose “remove this listing from Google Maps.” Save changes.
4. Select listing again, click delete.
5. Choose “remove this listing from my Google Places account.” Save changes.

And that’s it. The order in which you do things is critical. If you only delete the Google Places account, the undesired listing will continue to populate Google Maps even though it fails to show in your Google Places Account.

If, by chance, you have deleted a listing from Google Places but not from Google Maps, simply reclaim the places page so that it appears in you Places account, then follow the above steps.
